Recipe for a Good Writer

First, know you subject, it will save time, research, and guessing.

Have discipline and even if you would rather be doing something else, stay with it.

Proceed to start writing as the memories or facts come into your mind; don’t bother with correction or spelling, you can go back, read it, and then make corrections.

I find that the first draft will be the correct one — probably with some parts added or deleted, but the original thought is usually the right one.
