“I don’t know what to write.” I hear this every time I ask someone if they would like to join the writers group.
I tell them to write about anything, like their childhood, or things they did as a young person, or places they have been, places they have seen. Or they can write funny stuff, or book reviews, or movie reviews, or write about world affairs. Write poems. You could write romance or crime novels. How about a western or a cookbook? You can write anything you want. There are millions of subjects. Really, it just takes a pen, paper, and an imagination or an idea!
