as in death
her life’s work was For ALL!
No swan, she, her inner self
shown.
Ridiculed. Cheated. Laughed at.
She held her tears
to serve ALL her country
asking nothing —
getting betrayal from kin —
her Life’s work – not for one class/race
denied an honor
