The Friends of the Pima County Public Library book sale will be September 16-19
at the Book Barn at 2230 N Country Club Road, ½ block south of Grant Road.
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Discount days are Sunday – 1/2 price day, and Monday – $5.00 bag day.
Parking is available at the Book Barn.
All proceeds benefit the Pima County Public Library.
Programs sponsored include homework help, author events, summer reading
programs, family literacy programs, GED and language classes.
Walking into the Book Barn is awesome – shelves filled with books line the walls; tables filled with books fill the floor. Volunteers are available to help you find what you may be looking for – romances, mystery, western, biography, art, cooking, music, history, children’s books – books in paperback, large print, hard back, classics. Sometimes old magazines – National Geographic and Arizona Highways. Sometimes old 78 records, CDs or tapes.
Always a table of odds and ends.
Always friendly people ready to share, “The best book I ever read.”
If you’re looking for a place to volunteer, this may be just the place for you.
If you have many books you are ready to part with, here’s the place to donate them.
You all come; you’ll have a good time.
