The Mirror has Two Faces

By Elvira

Talk to me.
Tell the inner demons
that drive

To points of horror
or bliss,
depended on the
Medications

Do not answer.
Do not speak words that
prove insanity:
Men never UNDERSTOOD
the inner Life —
that which neither
boasts
or craves
attention

“He will know you by your deeds”
be it BLOOD
or Grace.
the Mirror prays
for peace —
but cacophony
only comes.
Troubled Soul. Troubled mind
all lead to Bedlam.
O, mighty one
Protect me from disbelievers:
the burden is heavy.

Mirror one
reflecting
on unwanted Visage.
Mirror two
tormented
by the Breath given.

Broken Mirror. Broken Faces.
Though seems whole
is forever
Cracked.
