Holidays

by Jim

When my dad was young, he said there were two holidays. When I was young I was told there were five holidays. Now there are (as the postman told me) twenty-three holidays. They are – New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, St Patrick’s Day, Easter, Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. Also we have Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Grandparents Day, and Halloween.
